The masculine water Star 1 comes to the center of all our homes and offices this year.  This means water weakening the center or earth of our homes.  In particular, there may be water problems.  Associated to the Star 1, the middle-aged man may have ear, kidney, prostate, sexual diseases or adultery.  Because Star 1 is out of cycle, it can bring trickery and money loss.  With the economy slowing down in the U.S., and other income sources being sought, households should be aware of "get rich" scams, fraud and identity theft, especially via the internet.  Over the 20-year Period 8, the earth Star 8 is strong, which can still bring wealth, but combined with the annual water Star 1, the mind can become unfocused and prone to poor judgment and bad decision-making.

With the feminine fire Star 9 being promoted by the southeast wood energies, those who have a southeast office, door or bedroom, especially middle-aged females, will likely enjoy promotion, achievement and fame in 2008.  They will encounter helpful people who support them and provide impetus for success.  Remember to show appreciation to refuel those who help you.  Your gratitude maintains your new status and keeps your supporters happy and strong so they can continue to help you.

The masculine earth Star 8 comes to the east this year.  This brings wealth, prestige, growth, focus and scholarship.  This is especially true for those who are the eldest son and have a gua of 3, 4, 1 or 9.  However, if you have children, especially, who belong to the 6, 7, 8 or 2 gua in the east room, they need to watch their health, particularly what they eat, or they may be prone to food poisoning, stomach ache or the stomach flu.  

The feminine wood Star 4 defeats the northeast earth energies. Staff and children in the northeast room may quarrel and be prone to allergies.  Elderly people sleeping in the northeast room may experience mood swings or lower back problems.  Be cautious of paperwork problems, employee conflicts or money loss with the northeast office or business door.  Movement or travel brings helpful people and wealth from abroad.  The fire Star 9 promotes earth Star 2, which is out of cycle.  This could bring theft, mental disturbance or female ailments - especially for older Rat, Horse, Rabbit or Rooster females.

The northwest metal energies are promoted by the feminine earth Star 2, bringing those compatible with the northwest room, love, happiness, good news and power.
