Mr. Lee has never considered seeing a feng shui master. He is an earnest man who believes that hard work will bring success in life. Like many of his friends, he
earned a master’s degree, started his own business, got married, and had children.
Five years ago, his wife had an affair, his family started troubling him, and his business failed for the third time. Last year he was in two car accidents. Recently, as he was leaving from a restaurant after a late supper, he was mugged. This last incident really frightened him. A good friend of his recommended he see me.
During his birth chart reading, I can tell Mr. Lee is a skeptic. He asks if our lives are predestined and revealed by our birth charts. He doubts it because his mother had gotten his chart done long ago and it foretold a bright future for him, but because he has not fulfilled this, he is a great disappointment to his family. He also adds that he has two childhood friends who are born on the same date as his, and yet unlike him, they are doing very well.
I explain to Mr. Lee our grand view philosophy of life. In our many year’s of experience, we have concluded there are over 130 factors that influence a person’s success. There are many different types of astrological birth charts and varying levels of masters who interpret them. I do not know what birth chart his mother did for him and how accurate or detailed the interpretation was.
The birth chart that we practice is called the Zi Wei Dou Shu birth chart and is one of the highest forms of astrology. Each Zi Wei Dou Shu birth chart can be seen as a statistical record of the cosmic energies that existed at your date and time of birth. When interpreted correctly, it can have an accuracy of 80-90%. However, your Zi Wei Dou Shu birth chart is still only 1 of 130 factors that affect your life. In other words, no matter what your Zi Wei Dou Shu birth chart may reveal, it is subject to many other factors, such as your personality, background, parents, education, culture, health, diet, career, partners, habits, where you settle down and the feng shui or energy of your home or office.
In this world, there are countless people born at the exact same time, however this does not mean they all possess the same birth chart or experience the same life. There are never two Einsteins or two Picassos. This tells us that a person’s life cannot be completely determined by their birth chart. For instance, if your birth chart states that you could live to be 93 years old, but you love to smoke and do drugs, you may kill yourself before the age of 30, altering the path your birth chart indicated. Clearly, there are many factors that can change a person’s life path as indicated on their birth chart.
As I explain this, I can tell Mr. Lee’s mind is opening up. He shares that his cousin, Bart had a |
birth chart reading and it indicated that he would live until the ripe old age of 80. An uncle who can read auras came to visit and seeing that Bart’s aura was unusually dark warned Bart to drive carefully. Bart replied that his birth chart had predestined him a long life and told his uncle not to worry. Yet, a couple weeks later, Bart was drinking and driving, got into an accident, and died at the age of 29.
Understanding your personal energy (your chi) through your aura along with the cycles of your life is vital to your success and sometimes, even to your survival. If you are encountering a challenging year such as your tai shui (same annual year as your personal zodiac), are married to an incompatible partner, started a business during the wrong economic cycle, your aura is dark (due to poor health, grief, stress), you are working or living in a detrimental environment, you can be prone to making poor decisions and attracting negative people. Trouble can occur despite a potentially positive outlook on your birth chart.
In interpreting Mr. Lee’s Zi Wei Dou Shu birth chart, given his circumstance and the decisions he made earlier in his life, it did show some of the challenges that he consequently faced. If given earlier foresight, he could have prevented much heartbreak and financial grief.
Tracing back through his life from his childhood to his current age, his Zi Wei Dou Shu birth chart showed that he was not meant to marry early in life, so if he did, his relationships are likely to be short term. He heaves a big sigh and admits he was not ready for marriage at that time and did so because of family and social pressures. His career sector also showed that he did better to work for others in the earlier part of his life rather than doing his own business. All the businesses he started and failed were incompatible to him as well. In reviewing his feng shui, we discover that he belongs to the Eastern Direction Pattern and funny enough (he is able to laugh at it now), none of the office feng shui matched him.
Mr. Lee comments that he wished he had known more about feng shui back then. In short, he was not aware of the many factors that were defeating him and causing him great stress and a dark aura which is a magnet for attracting similarly dark events into his life. So, despite his birth chart showing that he had good potential in his life, he was not fully aware of the best paths to take in his life. His belief that hard work alone will bring success did not pay off.
So, I explain to Mr. Lee that life is a journey and the Zi Wei Dou Shu birth chart is best seen as a map that provides an overview, helping him make vital decisions and select the courses that allow him live a more fulfilling life. Mr. Lee wishes for me to share his story so that others will not similarly travel blindly through life by trial and error. The birth chart is a powerful tool for guidance, but ultimately one must also make personal and feng shui adjustments to support their success.
