Factor 15: Ancestral Burial Grounds

Pyramids in Egypt   Liu Feng Shui Grand View is a philosophy defining 130 factors that affect who you are. This is the fifteenth article in a series presenting all 130 factors. Please refer to the first article for a complete introduction to this series. Today we will discuss Ancestral Burial Grounds.

In ancient times, feng shui was used in China to select auspicious burial grounds for royalty to ensure the power of their lineage. Throughout history, emperors of other countries, such as Egypt and Mexico, also adhered to specific burial site selection principles and rituals for the same reason.

Today, selecting a burial site with good feng shui is recommended for everyone to enhance the well-being of future generations. Because the DNA in the bones of the deceased is still connected to the DNA of their progeny, the physical remains of a body are ideally buried in a prime feng shui

location in order for them to rest peacefully and absorb positive earth energy.

The school of Yin Zai (spirit/home) feng shui reveals how to assess the quality of the orientation and geography of a burial site. It is important to pay attention to the particular land formations in a burial ground because they relate to specific family members of the deceased. Selecting an auspicious burial site requires the trained eyes of a feng shui master who can interpret landforms and their potential effect on the remaining family members and their offspring.

Your ancestral burial ground, or lack thereof, can affect you and your children. If most of the other factors in your life are positive and you still encounter many obstacles, it may be due to weak positioning of your ancestral burial ground. If you discover that you have ancestors buried in a less than ideal burial site, adjust the energy with feng shui and an ancestral altar.
