Liu Feng Shui Grand View is a philosophy defining 130 factors that affect who you are. This is the sixth article in a series presenting all 130 factors. Please refer to the first article for a complete introduction to this series. Today we will discuss Relatives.

Alas, you cannot choose your relatives. You are not given a choice as to whom your grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins are. Similar to your parents, but usually to a lesser degree, the personalities, backgrounds, and education level of your relatives will influence your life. In some situations, the influence of your relatives may actually be dominant over your parent’s energies.

Maybe your aunt is a famous singer and provides the connections you need to advance your career. Your cousin could be your role model or your brother, your nemesis. Depending on how close these people are to you, their behavior and your perception of their energy can affect who you are and your success in life.

You cannot escape your role in the family tree. Whether you are the family member everyone looks up to or the family member everyone is always trying to help, your relatives affect your development, attitude, responsibilities, and the decisions you make in life.

When you consider your family tree, you gain insight into your behavioral patterns and beliefs, providing the opportunity for creating change in your life.
