Liu Feng Shui Grand View is a philosophy defining 130 factors that affect who you are. This is the twelfth article in a series presenting all 130 factors. Please refer to the first article for a complete introduction to this series. Today we will discuss Your Parents' Environment.

The place in which a person’s parents reside during pregnancy is extremely important. If the energies or feng shui of your parents' environment is poor, the negative energies can affect you as the unborn child.

Latin Parents-to-Be Taking a Stroll through a Flower FieldFor instance, if your parents lived in a house that was always dark and musty, located in a toxic or noisy industrial region, both your father's and mother's physical and psychological health would have likely suffered. Being exposed to pollutants, disruptive or jarring sound frequencies, living with lack of sunlight and bad indoor air quality, your parents are prone to depression, getting sick, allergies or other health issues. This poor environment can also create stress in their relationship with arguments that could be emotionally jarring to your mother.

Because you and your mother are completely connected during pregnancy, anything she absorbs will naturally also be absorbed by you. Her emotional state and weaker health and immunity system can be a factor that has a potentially negative effect on your development as a fetus.

On the other hand, if the environmental energies are positive, the unborn child shall benefit. If your mother lived in a quiet and green coastal town, where her home is constantly filled with fresh air and sunlight, she gets to connect with nature through ocean views and nearby parks.

Furthermore, your father is also part of this environment. If your father was supportive during your mother's pregnancy, you will also benefit. For instance, if he made your mother laugh often, took care of her and would play soothing music for her and read to her, you would be exposed to these harmonious emotions. On this level, your mother will be relaxed, peaceful, nurtured and her health is supported by a very positive environment. Likewise, as a fetus, you will enjoy her happiness, the sounds and frequencies of nature and a less stressful womb environment.

Whether your parents lived in the ghetto, the countryside, or in a metropolitan city, each of these environments has its own energies and a different effect on the fetus during its development.
