Teenage Girls Studying on Park LawnEducation takes on many different forms. The type and level of education you have, greatly impacts your success in life, and on a greater scope, it impacts a nation's economic and political status. Receiving an education is not always a choice as it can be predetermined by the government, where you live, social status, parental influence, and in some cultures, your gender.

Generally, as a child you do not get to decide what you are taught, and in many countries, education levels and career paths are decided by test results. From a grand view feng shui perspective, it is extremely important, for the well-being of individuals and the whole of humanity, for people to study and pursue their innate interests and strengths.

There is a great emphasis in many cultures to study the careers of medicine, law, and finance. This dominance skews economic and social balance and the value of other equally vital fields. Observe children to see where their natural talents lie so they do not struggle at pursuing a field they are not interested in. Exposure to a wide spectrum of studies allows children to explore and understand the value of different career fields.

Although formal education is not a direct measure of your true intelligence and abilities, it will impact your credibility and affect how high you climb on the ladder of your career success. It is never too late to go back to school, get involved in educational organizations, find a good mentor, or take extension classes to acquire more skills and knowledge. With today's technology, the ways of getting an education are boundless.
