Encoding Positive Symbols into Your Living Spaces

"We shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us."

~Winston Churchill, English Statesman

A dream home should be designed not only to be aesthetically pleasing and functional, but to be meaningful and truly supportive of your goals in life. Few people realize that incorporating feng shui in terms of site selection, house orientation, room function, and layout can greatly affect their household's well-being, prosperity, and relationships. No matter how luxurious the materials or how grand the space, if the feng shui of your house is not compatible to you, one of the greatest investments in your life can turn out to be one of your greatest downfalls. When you are ready to build your dream home, Master Liu will design it according to feng shui, ensuring that it brings you and your family positive energy.

"I did not know of any feng shui master at first. I learned about Jenny after reading her website, and then attended one of her seminars... I was convinced she was the right feng shui master for my project.

Working with Jenny was a wonderful experience. There are so many decisions to make when building a house, and integrating feng shui into the process helps with the decision-making tremendously. Jenny was always reachable. I was more confident because Jenny was right there with me during the whole process...

I love how the design makes me feel when I am home. I feel like I am at a resort, totally relaxed. I love how well the house flows, the open layout, and the integration of indoor and outdoor space. I love that I don’t have to walk too far to get to every part of the house. I love the Asian modern design. There is good lighting in every room. The house is so comfortable."

"When I come home, I'm not stressed like I used to be. The architecture and the layout all come together so harmoniously. It is such a joy and comfort for me and my family to be home. Unlike before where coming home added to my daily stress, our house now balances our hectic work life, and most of all, my feng shui now rejuvenates me.

If you are building a new home or remodeling, I truly recommend having Jenny integrate feng shui into the design for you. I don't know a better way to enjoy your life."

"The custom feng shui house design was an extremely pleasurable experience.  Jenny did the initial layout based on a detailed inventory of my desires: a large library, 3 outdoor decks, a steam room, a meditation and massage room, and yards that allow for gorgeous gardens. She then worked patiently with the architect to ensure that everything was where it needed to be. The backyard terraces have caused numerous 'oohs' and 'aahs' from observers already. People driving by continue to slow down and look at the house. Every single person that has been inside has gushed like a school girl about how they want a house like this one!

I decided to build a house from the ground up simply because feng shui, and Jenny in particular, have been so good to me that I could only imagine how much better things would become were I in a well-designed house. I had looked for many years to try to find a house that was compatible with me, but I discovered that no house was going to match me perfectly without some changes, so why not make one perfectly for me?"

"The dialogue between client and architect is about as intimate as any conversation you can have, because when you're talking about building a house, you're talking about dreams."

Design Process

  1. Project Overview - Master Liu meets with you to discuss the scope of your project.
  2. Proposal Contract - A proposal is presented to you showing the scope of project and fees.
  3. Client Profile - You are interviewed regarding birth date, personality, style, and needs.
  4. Site Evaluation - A feng shui analysis is made of the site orientation, surroundings, and limitations.
  5. Project Program - An organized spreadsheet is created of the room functions, sizes, and special features.
  6. Schematic Plans - Preliminary sketches are presented for your input and adjustments. Approved schematic plans are given to the architect for drafting.
  7. Design Development - Customized feng shui principles are integrated seamlessly into the details of the design.
  8. Interior and Landscape Design - Personalized recommendations are made for special features, materials, and colors based on your Life Map.

Ground Breaking

It is always a good idea to get an auspicious date calculated for ground breaking. An auspicious date is a day when the planets are aligned in your favor based on your Life Map.  Ideally, you break ground, demolish, lay the foundation and establish the main beam, and move in on auspicious dates. Naturally, you should aim to avoid construction during the rainy season.

Remodeling

Countless people have unknowingly created negative feng shui after spending thousands of dollars on remodeling their home. When you decide to remodel, Master Liu will work with you to make sure your home has good, if not better, feng shui after the renovation.

Other Design Projects

You can apply feng shui principles to your home beyond the floor plan, elevation, interiors, and landscaping. To truly personalize your feng shui, special patterns, symbols, and numerology can be custom designed into the details of fixtures, windows, tiling, paint, and wall coverings.
